Welcome to ingdex.com the next generation video business directory. ingdex is a new eye-catching and informative way for people to visualise whatever there searching for or doing in Business through video ads… it’s youtube meets yellow pages - with extra Business Tools ...all this is absolutely FREE!

Whatever your advertising, selling or promoting, whether it’s a business, product or service, simply start by uploading an illustrated video about whatever your offering, homemade or professional it really doesn’t matter, make an eye catching ingpact and start getting noticed, Let the video do the talking!

Creating an Account

To create an account, simply click on the Sign up link at the top of every page in ingdex.com, enter your Business Name, email address, and password. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to click to activate your account. Once your account is created, you can log in and edit your account and personal information.

Business Name

When creating an account you will be asked to provide a Business Name (without spaces). Along with your password, this is your username to login to ingdex.
This is useful, as your Business Name will be included at the end of the ingdex website address. (example: http://www.ingdex.com/yourbusinessname or http://www.ingdex.com/your_business_name)
You can then use this website address to promote your business and help customers find you easily.

What if my Business Name is already taken?

This doesn’t have to be your actual business name (it could also be an abbreviation or shortened version if you choose) as there is an area to add your proper business name in your business profile information.
In the rare event that your business name is being used legitimately by another member, please contact us and we will contact the other member and try our best to reach a solution that suits both businesses.

Uploading Video

Log in to your account and upload your video from the navigation bar. You will be asked for a title, description, tags, which are simply search words relating to your video, and which three channels to place your video.

Click the "Continue" button and in the new screen click the "Browse" button to select your video. To let anyone view your video leave "Public" selected for Broadcast.

Click the upload button and wait! This will take a period of time to upload depending on the size of your video and the speed of your Internet connection. When the upload is complete, ingdex.com will let you know with a successful upload message.

Business Tools!

You will see that there are many useful Business Tools and features in your ingdex.com account. This is a Great way to Promote your business by showing off New Products or Services with your Business Blog or Promotions area. You can Share Files in the Live Chat rooms. You also can add your Events, Trade Shows, Club Nights or Product launches to the Event Calendar... and much more!

Tips on Creating Videos to Promote on ingdex.com

Most videos on ingdex.com are under five minutes long. There is a 10-minute length limit. Longer videos require more compression to fit in the 100MB size limit, and the quality will go down as the length of the video goes up.

ingdex.com accepts video files from most digital cameras, camcorders and mobile phones in the AVI, MOV, MP4, 3GP, RM, WMV and MPG file formats.

We recommend the MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 320x240 resolution with MP3 audio. Resizing your video to these specifications before uploading will help your ads look better on ingdex.com.

Before you sign up and start posting your video clips, please review these brief guidelines:

1. ingdex.com is not for pornography or sexually explicit content. Also, be advised that we will report child exploitation.
2. Don't post videos showing dangerous or illegal acts of any kind.
3. Respect copyright. Only upload videos that you made or that you have obtained the rights to use. This means don't upload videos you didn't make, or use content in your videos that someone else owns the copyright to, such as music tracks, snippets of copyrighted programs, or videos made by other users, without their permission. Read the Terms for more information.
4. Hate speech, which contains slurs or the malicious use of stereotypes, intended to attack or demean a particular gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, or nationality is not allowed.
5. There is zero tolerance for predatory behaviour, stalking, threats, harassment, invading privacy, or the revealing of other members' personal information. Anyone caught doing these things may be permanently banned from ingdex.com.
Violations of the Terms of Use may result in a warning notification or may result in termination of your account and deletion of all your videos. We decide whether we believe your violation of our Terms of Use should result in termination of your account. If you have an account terminated you are prohibited from signing up for another account.
